Magnesium is the main alloying element of various rust-proof aluminums except 3A21 (LF21) alloy. The magnesium content of deformed magnesium alloys is <5.5%, and the magnesium content of cast Al-Mg alloys is 4% to 10%. Adding manganese can make the magnesium-containing phase evenly distributed, improve strength, corrosion resistance and weldability.
