Aluminum 5086 is a high magnesium and non-heat treatable alloy. Its magnesium content is between 3.5% and 4.5%. Therefore, the strength of 5086 aluminum is higher than that of 5052 aluminum alloy, but the strength is slightly lower than that of 5083 aluminum alloy. Generally speaking, the state of commonly used 5086 marine aluminum plate is O, H111, H112, H116, H321, etc.
