Alu Wire
What is aluminum welding wire
Welding wire is a wire welding material used as filler metal or at the same time as conductive. Aluminum welding wire refers to a welding wire made of aluminum alloy, which has good alloy characteristics. 5183 and 5356 aluminum wire are often used for marine aluminum sheet welding.
5183 aluminum welding wire is an aluminum-magnesium welding wire with a magnesium content of nearly 5% and a higher manganese content. It is used for welding with high magnesium content and requiring strong tensile strength (for example, when the tensile strength is 276MPa or higher).
5356 aluminum welding wire is an aluminum-magnesium welding wire containing more than 5% magnesium and higher manganese content, with high height, good corrosion resistance and hot crack resistance. The weld seam is white after anodizing, which provides a good color matching for the welded joint. This series of aluminum welding wires are used as filler consumables for argon arc welding of aluminum alloys with high magnesium content.

Application
1. 5183 aluminum alloy wire can be used for the welding of 5654 and 5083 aluminum plate, featuring excellent resistance to seawater corrosion and low temperature performance. The weld seam is white after anodizing, which provides a good color matching for the welded joint. It is used for welding of related aluminum alloys in ship structures, offshore platforms, cryogenic vessels, railway locomotives and automobile industries.
2. 5383 aluminum alloy wire is used for automotive aluminum alloy fuel tanks, doors, body, frame, stage equipment, aluminum alloy doors and windows, guardrails, aluminum shells, aluminum tanks, pressure vessels, aluminum alloy furniture, aluminum formwork, petrochemical silos, medical equipment, ships, yachts, transportation facilities, etc.
