Aluminium 5083 H111 and H112
In the ship building industry, 5083 h116/h321/h112 are mostly used for the main deck, he diesel engine pedestal and the hull of the boats. Aluminum 5083 h111 and 5083H112 belong to the same 5083 aluminum alloy. The two are essentially the same, and there is no difference in chemical composition. The alloy used for marine marine aluminum plate is mostly 5083h111 marine aluminum plate.
The bending effect of 5083 aluminum plate depends on the tempers. In the state of high hardness, it is easy to break during bending. The super hard state of H18 is not suitable for bending. The tempers suitable for bending are: O, H111, H112, H114, H24 , H32, h34, etc.
5083H111 and 5083H112 indicate the work-hardening state of the product, that is, it is suitable for products that increase strength through work-hardening. Here is an introduction to the subdivision of H temper.
The first number after H represents the basic processing procedure to obtain this state:
H1: Simple work hardening processing state. It is suitable for the state where only work hardening is required to obtain the required strength without additional heat treatment.
H2: Work hardening and incomplete annealing state. It is suitable for products whose work hardening degree exceeds the specified requirements of the finished product, and the strength is reduced to the specified index due to incomplete annealing. For alloys that soften naturally at room temperature, H2 has the same minimum ultimate tensile strength value as the corresponding H3; for other alloys, H2 and the corresponding H1 have the same minimum ultimate tensile strength value, but the elongation is slightly higher than H1.
H3: Steady state of work hardening. It is suitable for products whose mechanical properties are stabilized by heat treatment after work hardening or by heating during processing. The H3 state is only applicable to alloys that gradually age soften at room temperature (unless stabilized).
H4: Work hardened and painted state. It is suitable for products that have not been fully annealed after work hardening.
The second digit after H indicates the degree of work hardening of the product. The number 8 stands for hard state. H111 stands for products that have undergone moderate work hardening after final annealing, but the degree of work hardening is not as good as that of H11. H112 is applicable to thermally processed products.
